Believe it or not, it's 30 weeks to IM Boulder. Gah! Training starts today.
For the next few weeks, I'm combining marathon and IM training, so my runs will be longer than normal at this point. But after the marathon (March 1st), it will be back to normal.
Up today: Run - 10 miles Swim - 4 x 200, 1500, 4 x 50
I'm excited to be back on a schedule!
I can't keep it all straight. Who else is doing an IM this year? Which one/when is it? Is it your first?
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I am SO very excited to hear all about this race. I'd love it to be my next one.
I'm racing IMTX in May - my first. My early weeks were in the middle of marathon training, too. Recovering and getting back to running has been tough, and I've had a really sick winter so far. I rarely get sick, so it's as if all of those healthy years are coming back to haunt me! Even though I'm really excited about training and the race, it makes me nervous that I have already missed workouts from being sick.

@sessalee - Thanks!
kams - You should be alright. Everybody misses workouts. You just try not to miss a ton. And as someone who has missed a ton in the past (I'm looking at you, IMLP 2013), you can still get through it. You just might not be fast, and it might not be pretty.
I'm so excited for you! I really am still having a hard time knowing I'm not doing one this year! I'm going to do at least one 70.3, hopefully two. July registration for 2015 IM Whistler is right around the corner right?
I'm so excited for our IM girls this year!
kams just wait 'til after IM, I had at least 3 colds from the end of August through October, but then again I work in a cesspool of germs!
