Hands down Goblet of Fire for me. Some parts just seem ridiculous. The entrance of the other schools? Not necessary. They could have used the money for that scene and brought back Dobby. WHICH WAS NECESSARY! GAH! And the Weasleys not being in the top box of the World Cup? THAT WAS ALSO NECESSARY!
The only good thing about the movie was David Tennant. And he wasn't in it near enough. Though I did think the actress that played Rita Skeeter did a great job.

I am a very passionate person about my fandoms.
I watched all the HP's before I started Doctor Who, so I had no idea Tennant was in it. Shit. Now I'm going to have to watch them all over again! :-)
I didn't particularly care for the Prisoner of Azkaban. Or the Deathly Hallows Part 1.

Oh and more to the other two school's entrances. Hi only girls are from Beauxbatons and we're all petite and feminie. And only guys go to Dumstrang and we're manly manly men.
Here's a Harry Potter UO- I really disliked the choice of Helena Bonham Carter for Bellatrix. Yes, she played it well, but it just felt a little forced. Or something. I would have liked to see someone a little more indie, an unknown.

I didn't have a problem with her. Though she seems to have type casted herself with this movie and Sweeney Todd.

And Alice In Wonderland. I DO very much like her; she just wouldn't have been my first choice in HP.

I could do without Prisoner of Azkaban. I just want jump straight to the relationship with Sirius. I wish we got to see More of Harry and Sirius together.
I hated that they completely left out the story of the marauder's map. I really liked that one overall, but the fact that they left out the backstory bugged me.

After watching all 8 movies in a 24 hour period last week I realised just how much they cut out of the movies. I wish they had included more Dobby in the movies. He was important. I wish they had included more of Tonks and Remus as well. They pretty much skipped over that entire relationship.
PoA is the only one I actually really enjoy! For me, Sorcerer's Stone is the worst by far. I can barely make it through the movie, and actually often wind up fast-forwarding through quite a bit. It's just way, way too cheesy.
GoF is middle of the pack for me, I didn't hate it but I didn't enjoy it either. I hate Tennant in it. Even after watching Who and loving him in that, I hate how they wrote his character in GoF. The tongue thing, omg. I want to stab him every time he does it.

The fact that they left in the part of Snape hinting about Lupin being one if the Mauraders and then they NEVER mention who they actually are will always bug me.
I actually don't really like any of the films but 5 would be the worst in my opinion. The movie is very choppy and has no flow to it what so ever and Sirius' death was really down played. I mean come on people felt worse about Luna having all her stuff stolen!
Goblet of Fire was my least favorite, because unfortunately the hair was just terrible. It was the trend at the time but re-watching it I wince.
Now, that said, I saw all the movies in theater and I remember grumbling to myself over ALL of them because something was inevitably left out, or not given enough time...
I hated the random Bellatrix/Weasley corn field scene they took the time to add, but they left out Hermoine's house elf goodness and so when she and Ron finally kiss, it's just not the same.
PoA is my least favorite because it was such a jarring change from the first two. Sure, the first 2 are a bit cheesy but they really felt magical. I was not very happy to see them running around in jeans and sweaters in PoA, and everything seemed grey and lifeless. Goblet is my runner-up for least favorite~

I've always thought Order of the Phoenix felt like a montage of scenes instead of a cohesive portrayal of the book. I also found the "gritty" look of PoA jarring and it took me out of the magic-ness of the HP universe.
PoA was my favorite book, so it was the biggest letdown film-wise. I also didn't like the dark, non-magical feel to it, and since this is when you start really learning about the past and Harry's parents, I thought it fell really short on the emotional aspects.
GoF was the first of the really massive novels, so I was expecting them to have to make huge cuts for the movie, but I still didn't like it. And every movie had to do the same.
Honestly, I loved the first film for its charm and whimsy. I felt it did a wonderful job of bringing Hogwarts to life. But for the rest, I'd much rather just reread the books.
It was my least favorite book so the movie didn't really have a chance. I agree it was ridiculous that apparently all French wizards are girls and all Russian wizards are apparently boys.
