Will anyone notice if my cupcakes are from a box?

Provided my cream cheese frosting is home-made?

I don't feel like mixing all the things, or adding the food coloring. I kind of just want to buy a box of cupcake mix, add the packet of instant pudding to make them slightly better, and then top with kick-ass frosting. Is this acceptable??
