AKA: The season of purple
Have we talked about this yet? I thought it was a good premiere. I was bummed that they brought the flirty maid back. I liked O'Brien's dour meanness. I feel like she was more, IDGAF I'm mean because I can be. This girl just seems like so much more bad news. More conniving and calculating. I'm not looking forward to her shenanigans.
Nanny West? Holy crap!
Lord Grantham was irritating me with his self-centered attempts to "protect" Mary from anything estate related. Jerkface. As always, the Dowager Countess was awesome.
Edith. Oh, Edith. I wish good things for her this season.
I too am hoping this is the Year of Edith. Mary needs a therapist, STAT. I do like, though, how Tom is all Team Mary and getting her to be smart about the estate. The maids are getting a little too Girls Gone Wild. Settle down, ladies.
I don't like the flirty maid either. I also don't like that she and Thomas are ganging up on Anna (and Bates). I mean, come on. That story line is SO tired at this point.

Otherwise, a good start to a new season.
That's how I feel. AND that the mother (what is her name??) just takes what one person says and runs with it. Now, in the case of the nanny, that worked out. BUt she should KNOW BETTER when it comes to Anna and Bates! Don't just blindly take Thomas' word.

That's exactly what I said. Anna has been with them forever, does she not know her at all?
