Cape May. Ugh. It says you need someone who knows both parties. I don't even know how we'd get someone to go up during the week with us. People are already taking off work for the wedding, I feel bad asking someone to take off another day.

We tried to get J's unemployed brother to come, but he's broke. We offered to pay, but he says he doesn't feel right.

Nope. 3 day waiting period. You can apply up to 6 mo in advance but can't pick up any more than 30 days prior to the wedding.

No witnesses needed in VA, and it doesn't matter where in VA you get your license, iirc!
