It gets better. I will warn you that it's going to get worse first - after day 2 of CF I held off going to the bathroom as long as possible because the standing up/sitting down involved sounded too painful - but after a few days you should stop being in constant pain
And actually, I DO occasionally get a few seconds of should massage from my coach, so hang in there!
WOD weeze goes away eventually - and then you do a really hard workout and you randomly get it again - DH came home the other day with it, it was kind of funny.
It gets because because you learn what the moves are and you learn how to scale so that you can make it through the WOD without absolutely dying.
It absolutely gets better! Tomorrow might be worse for the soreness though. KEEP MOVING! Walk, stretch, drink water, and don't sit still for long periods of time.
I did an intro to crossfit last week too, and WOOF. I never knew I was doing squats all wrong! It took me from Thursday (workout) until LAST NIGHT to go to the bathroom without pain, haha. I am really excited about it though!
It gets much much better. For the first few days I could barely make it up or down a flight of stairs. It was a mission to do so. Also, going to the bathroom. I had to throw myself onto the toilet to avoid bending too much. I have never been in that much sore pain since so there's hope! Just don't ever stop then start again. That's my motivation to keep going. I am terrified to ever stop because I know what pain I will feel when I start again.
I was expecting my legs to be more sore than they are. Maybe NROLFW and all the other strength training I've done for my knee has helped? Or maybe my shoulders and arms are just ridiculously sore because of the exercises we did? (FWIW we learned part of "Cindy").
I look forward to going back next Sunday for another Intro class. They aren't doing the next round of elements classes until February so a group of us are in limbo but were encouraged to attend the intro classes for the next few weeks.
