Fri: opposite of H&F going away lunch out AND happy hour Sat: 4 miles outside Sun: 6 miles outside - it was awesome. I had negative splits and speeds were on par with 1/2 training back in October, so I was pumped that all my time on the dreadmill hasn't been for naught
F: 4.7 mile tempo run S: 8 miles Su: 2 miles plus strength.
Friday was my first time at gym after being stuck I side all week. I was so happy to be on the treadmill, that I looked like the gif of Brad Pitt's character in Burn after Reading.
I had an awesome 11 mile run yesterday. Felt great the whole time.
The only crappy part of the run was the slippery trails. We'd had some melting and refreezing on Saturday that caused slick spots. Then, we got a dusting of snow overnight that made it impossible to see where the slick spots were. I had a lot of near falls that caused me to flail around.
Friday: You are Your Own Gym DVD- Intermediate Circuit Training. I'm in love with these workouts (all bodyweight stuff, only 30 mins long), and have a small crush on Mark Lauren. Saturday: rest day, walked the dog around the neighborhood in between rainstorms Sunday: awesome run- only 2nd time I've gotten outside this year. I surprised myself and did 6 miles- longest run to date since I"ve gotten back into it! I felt amazing and energized all day afterwards- perhaps my first runner's high in a long long while?!
