I met Jimmy Carter and Obama when they spoke at my university (separately) and I met Clinton at a charity dinner. I also spoke to him on the phone once when I was interning for my state senator.
Clinton in 2008 in my hometown while he was campaigning for his wife. Obama was just a presidental candidate when I met him the same year as Clinton. I've never met a sitting president.
Stan-don't worry I don't usually talk politics since I live it all the time. But I've been to the last 3 inaugurations, aren't they all amazing?! Cold but amazing!
I met W Bush when he was (governor?) of TX at the Capitol building in Austin. My unless yelled "Hey George!" like he knew hom, and he came over. I met Clinton when he came to my high school for a... Pep rally I guess I'll call it. I sat next to the governor of CO at the time during the rally and did the YMCA with him and his wife. (not a president but still fun)
I need to concoct a way to meet Obama, since it would be cool to establish a pattern of meeting each president.

Negs. Pres. Obama flew into our prior base whenever he visited Denver. The flight line was about 3 blocks from my house. His motorcade took the same route home as me one day. They shut the highways down though, so I wasn't following closely or anything, just saw him pass a couple times. I also went to his KCMO rally. Never met him though.
Never met a president and I'm bummed too. My great-aunt was Bush 41's personal secretary for decades including during his presidency. She was able to get our family private tours of the residence and if the First Family was home she would do introductions. My dad was being a jackwagon towards my mom's family during those days though so we never were able to take her up on the offer.
Mr. and Mrs. Bush sent hand written letters of congratulations to my grandparents for both their 50th and 60th wedding anniversaries which I always thought was nice.
