You mentioned several weeks ago that you knit socks for YH. Would you mind sharing your pattern?

I'll PM you. It's a pattern I put together specifically for DH, though, so they fit his feet/calves. DH is short and has a muscular build, so they might not work as well for someone tall and lean.

I use Cascade Heritage sock yarn, both the solids and the paints, available in 100 gram skeins (I use about 1.5-ish for a pair for DH, which means buying 2 of each colour, and then I have leftovers). I haven't used the silk blend from Cascade yet, so I don't know how it works or holds up.

I love Cascade yarns. I knit my dad a great pair of gloves with the 220 wool.

Cascade is the bomb. Seriously. I made DH multiple pairs of socks out of their sock yarn, and he had them laundered in Iraq by the laundry services there, and they came home unscathed...

I love the stuff. My LYS carries darn near every yarn they make. It's awesome!
