Did your kid stop drinking milk when teething? I thought I"ve heard they get hungrier.
baby C is barely consuming any these last few days. It's worrying me a bit. She just had her first tooth poke through, so I'm not sure if it's related.
She was drinking about 31 ounces a day before this last weekend.
(and she did a poo today that made her cry, she had to work so hard. Poor baby. Normally she just concentrates then goes off laughing to play and I have to catch her to change her).
Yes. My daughter would refuse her bottle like crazy when she was teething. It's something about the sucking motion that hurts more. And I'm sure she's just feeling a little punky anyway.
VERY Interested in table foods. Purees are out, anything she can feed herself is in.
Even that though, I don't think she's been eating a ton more than when she was when she drank that much milk too. She eats a LOT and is still a peanut. Those 31 oz of milk plus a fair amount of solids all day long. (still can wear a lot of 0-3 and 3-6 mo clothes at nearly 11 months).
I've been trying it in a sippy cup. I think I need to try in a regular cup or one w/ a straw then. She wanted to drink it out of the side of the bottle, but pushed it away when I gave her a bottle w/ the nipple on it.
I wonder if her whiny moments are teeth or hunger. I just can't tell.
