Awesome Con DC?

Anyone going? I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go! But H is working, so going means I either have to find someone to take B for the day (or two), find someone to go with me to help me with B, or get H to take off work.

ETA: awesomecondc.com/ April 18-20th

ETA#2: I'd really love to take B because I know she would love it. She will have turned two literally days before. It will probably mean shorter days at the convention though. Also, she gets in free!

I just checked. A flight from where I live to DC is only like $250. AND my birthday is the 19th. All valid reasons that my husband and I should go to DC, right? Lol

Actually, there are a lot of good guests that look like they'll be there.

Yeah, I totally cant afford any Billie Piper tickets. And I probably wont be able to afford to buy much while there. BUT I STILL WANT TO GO.

OOOO Peter Mayhew, if my son was older he would love to meet his favorite star wars personality.
My DH had a run in with him at a dragoncon a while ago. He was at a morning panel that had a breakfast bar and he got the last cheese danish when the guy behind him said something, he turned around and was right at the chest height of Peter Mayhew. They talked for a few mins about the pastry spread, my dh traded his cheese danish for his signature.
