I have not been a fan of the Nest since their last update/change to their site in 2008. I would not be sad to stay here.

ETA: The iPhone proboards app is bitchin, and a huge selling point.

No really, I know some people think it's exactly the same but the functions of this site are so much better. PM notifications, a button for newest reply, ease of messing with siggies, contact options, etc. It's just better.

considering I basically had left the nest anyhow and was barely even lurking... i vote stay. My local from the nest GBCNd during the last major overhaul, so Im already on two similar boards (spark lit hosted). This feels more comfortable to me.

I like this board SO much better - the quick reply is awesome, the format is easier to read, everything is easier.

But, I think we will miss the random traffic that the Nest gets. And Bump board wars will be a thing of the past, which is sad.

I've already had several people ask me if I can make bump boards too, so maybe some of them will come over here & bring their crazy?

I don't know how well this board will do long-term unless it is google searchable or something, but for now I really like it.

I really can't think of one reason to stay at the Nest. I'll be happy to never look at their cluttered, ugly pages again. Even if they get their act together - do we trust them to keep it that way?

Good point about it getting kinda echo-chamber-y in here without new folks wandering in. The Nest gods are definitely deleting mention of these boards... Whomever sticks around over there should direct interesting/ridiculous people over here! It's like the Underground Railroad!
