Yes. Loved it. Definitely my favorite of his, followed by The Diamond Age.

Omg yes. So so good. I love his baroque cycle too but it is dense.

So did Fraa Jad just bounce around through a bunch of different possible outcomes until he found one where they didn't all kill each other? Or is there some version of him still sneaking around the ship?

And how is it that some of the people on Arbre seemed to know that he didn't always die right after launch? Am I just giving them too much credit?
