I'm registering for my first official 5K!

Hi, lurker here from CE&P.   I'm going to run my first official 5K, and it will be on ZB's birthday. August 2. I think I might
sob through the entire thing, but that's okay.  I was going to run on May 4, as a lot of people here and elsewhere are doing, but there isn't one in my area. The first one in my immediate area that I found is on her birthday, and I'm taking that as a sign. Plus, it includes water AND wine stations, and you can't go wrong with that.

If you live in the Hudson Valley of NY, you should sign up! They have races in CT, OH and the Finger Lakes region of NY as well, but not on ZB's birthday.

I've been slowly running for a couple of months now, and I love it! I just didn't think I would sign up for these types of things. But, I feel compelled to do this one. I'm thinking a purple tutu might be in order for one special little girly.
