So I've been having some really crappy runs lately that have just made me feel like WTH am I doing this in general about marathon training. So, I finally got my lazy bum in gear and mapped out a new route for my 5 this morning- it made all the difference in the world! I felt so alive and invigorated! I found my love for running again. It was slow b/c I was with a newer runner, but honestly that's what I needed, and I'm just so happy. Happy, happy, happy.

Yay!! I love this. I was having the same problems, and I did the same thing for my final, big, long run. It made such a difference! I'm glad you had a great run.
Yay! That's awesome! I like finding new routes as well too, gives me a lift to find a nice long stretch of road that is pretty, fast or challenging, or even one that has less traffic on it. Glad you had a good run!
