I've never found SJP attractive. Ever. Actually, I find her so unattractive that I can't stand to watch a movie with her in it. I realize that makes me sound like a big judgemental douche.

I don't find her attractive, either. I also can't tolerate her in movies, but it's mainly because of her voice. I think the way she talks is really irritating.
There were certain seasons of Sex and the City where I've thought she was pretty, but she's certainly no raving beauty....I guess she is getting old now too...is she pushing 50?

I've never thought that she tried to portray herself as any beauty. I really admire her for being up front about her faults, and kind of saying that you don't have to be a centerfold-type beauty to be attractive, and to have style and confidence and feel sexy. But then again I know her mostly from "Square Pegs" back in the day. What I've seen of her style is quirky, and NMS, but I say more power to her.

I agree. I don't think she is gorgeous or anything (though there are episodes of SATC where I think she looks very pretty), but I kind of love her. I think she is smart, and I like the way she owns her style. And in addition to being Carrie Bradshaw, she was on Square Pegs and is married to Ferris Bueller! Come on, there is just something cool about her, no?

I love her too. For all of this.
Plus I could possibly be described as a little "horse faced", so I guess we have to stick together...

I've never found her attractive.
I agree with Dr. G, though, that I don't think she's ever thought of herself or presented herself as some great beauty. I think she's probably quirky and fun in real life.
That's one of the things that makes Sex and the City reruns kind of hard for me to watch now, though. Other characters were always carrying on as if Carrie is the most beautiful thing ever.
