Weird ankle pain, what should I do.

For about the last week, I've had tinges of ankle pain. It's on the inside of one foot only. I occasionally get tiny pain flicks when walking in bare feet or flat shoes. There is no pain when walking in heels, swimming or cycling. 

I have upped my running mileage in the last few weeks and I also got new running shoes a couple months ago (half my running is in the new shoes and half is in old shoes).

I haven't run since Monday, because I don't want to aggravate anything.

Any ideas on what this could be and what I should do?
