Our new pup is 7 months. At first I said no way to table food but now I give him a few left overs of our meat and vegetables. Then, I read how some cook dinners for their dogs so what do you do? He is just so darn happy when he gets some of our food in his bowl but I don't want to hurt him.
We'll give him a bite, almost always in his bowl. However he does know he can lick the spoon after i put PB on my toast/in my smoothie, so as soon as I face the cabinet, he's right behind me licking his lips
Ours get people food like veggies and fruit just about every day. We throw some of what we put in our salad in their dinner bowl. They sometimes get some leftovers from our dinner but we only give it to them in their bowls. Willow gets daily meds for her Addisons and hypothyroidism and we hide them in people food (string cheese, cucumbers, etc.)
They are both walking stomachs so as soon as they even see us making food, they sit so pretty and still waiting to see if they get something in their bowls.
Very rarely. If she gets a bite of something she begs non-stop for the next week. I'll sometimes sneak a piece of something into her food dish when she's not in the room so she'll find a treat the next time she wanders in.

I have a preschooler and toddler, so they get people food. I'm careful with raisins, grapes, and onions, but don't see a problem with using the dogs as a cleanup force (the command is actually cleanup) and occasionally they get chicken scraps from trimming or leftover quesadilla. Kevin is actually happy to share his food, usually giving a bite to a dog, then a bite for himself.

Nope. We can't stand begging. My aunt has the WORST beggar of a dog. They feed him off of their own forks at the table and he screeches if they stop. Drives all of us batty.
They get bread once a month with their heartworm pill and they think it's the best thing EVER, haha.

Yes, and he also gets fresh fruit and veggies from time to time. Oh, and he loves to lick the remnants of a yogurt cup.
Rachel Ray's magazine has a pet-friendly recipe every month, though I've yet to make one.
He has taken to begging more, and it is driving me crazy. He picked up the begging when visiting my dad. We're trying to break it, but it's a challenge.
ETA: when we do give him stuff, we put it in his bowl or outside depending on what it is.

My husband and I don't. My toddler tends to unintentionally by dropping food, leaving his cereal bowl on a low table, or a ceral bar on the coffee table.
I will give him "people food" (scrambled eggs, pumpkin, etc.) but those always go in the food bowl.
My toddler drops food, and we're too lazy to pick it up, so I totally let the dogs hoover AFTER she's done eating. I just makes urge they don't eat foods with chocolate, grapes/raisens or onions.
We don't feed table scraps. We will sometimes cook up some plain chicken or beef extra for her while we make dinner and put that in her food bowl, but otherwise she only eats treats and food make for dogs.
We don't give her anything from our plates. Occasionally she'll get a few bites of chicken, either in her bowl or we have her sit and give it to her. And apparently we are clumsy because she's always in the kitchen waiting for us to drop something, which we usually then let her eat.
