What would you rate the book overall? Do you think you'll ever read it again?
I'd probably give it a 3. I don't intend to read it again, nor would I recommend it to a friend. It was better than the first time I tried to read it, but I still didn't really enjoy it.
I give it a 4. I've always loved it. However this read felt like a completely different read to me. Maybe because I could slow down and take my time. Every other time I've read it it's been for a class and I had to plow through it. I probably wouldn't recommend it to a friend because I think you have to really love that writing style to appreciate it.

I struggled through it. I will not be reading it again. Like the previous posters, I'm glad it's off my "to be read" list, but I never have to pick it up again. Personally, I give it no stars, because I struggled so much through it. I did find the last chapters to be the best of the book, and not just because they were the last ones. I kind of wish I knew what happened to Lockwood and Nelly, but not enough to seek out a sequel -- not that there is one.

I really struggled with this one guys. I feel like because I was only reading it once a week and had other books going on a the same time I wasn't really "into" the story as much as I would have been if it was my only book.
and ditto PP: Glad it's off my TBR list, but I doubt I'd recommend it to anyone.
I like a challenge but still a 3 because I would have a hard time recommending it to friends. I may reread the first few chapters just because now it would be easier to follow the relationships and I feel like I missed something.
