I drop in once in a while, but I've been a bad GBCN-er since DD was born. She starts daycare next week and I start work the week after, so that'll mean I'll be online more (40 minute PT commute FTW).
Life is good here in Amsterdam with our little girl. I'm currently trying to figure out when I want to take her stateside for a vacation. We also want to take her to Italy to meet DH's family, so it's a bit of work to figure out what timing works best for which trip. I'm currently waiting to hear when the next family reunion in the US will be, so I can see if we can use that as a starting point. That'd be so much easier than traveling all over.
Hope you all are doing well and hope to start participating more again soon!
Hi Cheesecake!! So glad that things are going well for you :-). We're just biding our time waiting for LO to make his appearance in March....nothing big planned before then, just regular work stuff. Still, it's going by quickly :-)
Hi Cheesecake. I'm sometimes here, but since I'm no longer "over there," I don't feel as relevant on the IN board. Also, it has been kind of quiet on this board lately.
Hi! I'm really bad about getting on proboards these days, but I am here sometimes though I haven't posted in ages.
Doing well and can't believe DH and I have been in Germany for nearly two years already and our little baby boy is about to turn one! Life is a bit hectic with two small LOs but I'm learning to love it here and have made a few close friends, which helps everything, right?

HI! Glad things are going well for you. And sounds like everyone else is doing well too.
I'm still here...here and there. DD has kept me super busy. In my last post, I was a bit stressed with how difficult she was and it was really helpful to hear that I wasn't the only one and that it would pass... eventually. I'm happy to report that she is doing much, much better! One or two people who have met her have even gone as far to say," oh, what a happy baby!" And others who have known her say that it's like she's a completely different baby.
We have just 4 months left here in Munich and I am sooo sad to be leaving. We've met so many awesome people, who have been a part of the most exciting, happy, stressful, and difficult part of my life! It'll be sad to say good-bye.
You all have been a big part of this time in my life as well. The support has been invaluable... from my transition here to delivering a baby 6 weeks early to parenting to just living abroad. Thank you so much!
This is beginning to sound like a good-bye post. LOL. It won't be... I check in from time to time. And who knows... we may end up abroad again one day.

yeah!! I am glad that things are looking up for you. Time usually helps with everything. Enjoy your time left in Germany and hope to see you around the boards.
Cheesecake - is today the first day of daycare? I hope it goes well for everyone!
And I'm still here on and off, just back at work so much more time in front of a computer than while I was on maternity leave! All is good here, just enjoying our daughter and figuring out our next adventure.
Yes pittpurple Today was her first trial day, so just for a short while and she did great. (She did, mommy, well, not so much. There was crying...) Tomorrow for a little longer and without a parent in the building and then Friday her first full day if all goes as planned.

I'm back, too! My laptop died before Christmas and I got an ipad but hadn't gotten around to getting over to proboards on it. But now it's bookmarked, so I'm sure I'll be coming back more frequently.
Glad to hear that things are going well for you! Both of my DDs started preschool/daycare at the beginning of February. We're still in the adjustment period for both of them, so DD1 has shorter hours than normal and someone is still with DD2 all the time (this coming week the nanny or DH, whoever is with her, will start leaving her for short periods).
