Good Morning ladies!!! (Or afternoon if it's already late where you are)!
It is hump day for most of you! Whoop! What is going on today? Any plans?
QOTD: Speaking of the American tv post, do you keep up with current American tv shows? If so, how do you watch them? Are they on tv? Downloaded? Stream through netflix?
I got crappy news. My head is spinning with thoughts and I can't fall asleep. I just hope the issues iron out and I can move on. Blergh.
I will be student teaching today. My last day is Friday. It feels good to be nearly done with it.
QOTD: we don't have cable. We use Hulu Plus and Netflix. Along with an antenna to watch local stations. I love Hulu to keep up to date. And Netflix entertains me with older shows I missed out on.

Good evening. We just got home from a delayed anniversary celebration with my in-laws and after two nights in a row of little to now real sleep, I am headed to bed early. Tomorrow I'm going to sleep late and then check in with my parents to see how they fared during the "sneauxmageddon."
QOTD: I watch Jeopardy! on the live-streaming site, which is how I found it in the first place. I really miss Jeopardy! I buy seasons of NCIS, NCIS: LA, Covert Affairs, and Major Crimes from iTunes. I use my parents' cable/satellite log-in to stream college football games through ESPN's website. Everything else I watch when it airs on Australian free-to-air channels, but that's really only Person of Interest and The Big Bang Theory.

Hi! It's afternoon now :-)
Just went for a walk at lunch, it's gorgeous out right now :-) Now I have a few more hours of work, and then off to Zumba! :-)
It's also almost the weekend, hooray!
QOTD: We keep up with all our current tv shows and download everything. We probably could VPN in to use Hulu or Netflix but the way we do it works for now.

OK, so I feel weird commenting since we don't really "know" each other on here and stuff ... but I am sorry about whatever your crappy news is. I hate things like that, especially when they crop up when I want to sleep. Because then I can't. I hope everything works out soon.
QOTD: We just started using something similar to Netflix through Amazon.de, but just to watch movies. We have DVDs of our favorites (30 Rock, the Office, Flight of the Conchords). Otherwise, we are not up to date on anything American anymore. Womp womp. Oh, except I read my mom's People magazines on my Kindle. And have no idea who anyone is.

Hey everyone! Nothing really new here...today seems to be the first day in a week or so that the local schools don't have a delay, so my lunchtime volunteer plans are still a go. I wish they had a delay...it's too cold to walk to that school!
QOTD: we used iTunes a lot for shows, but I only kept up with NCIS.
Good afternoon! Boring and a dreary day here. I had a morning meeting about a new research project I am starting with a friend. On my way home I stopped by two stores to check out their sales and bought some lingerie. I also stopped for some Belgian fries at the open air market. Now I am getting the house organized and then I need to work on my articles. Tonight I am leading Alateen and have Alanon meeting myself.
QOTD: we download everything. Current favs are: The Following, The Blacklist, Criminal Minds, SVU, Elementary and the Mentalist. We're all up to date on these too.

Are you doing the share an account too? DH, my sister and I all have our devices registered to one account. Great way to save.
Not much here. DS2 has swimming this afternoon. I loathe getting him changed before and after swimming. Particularly with my 1 year with me. DH is coming today so that'll be a nice change.
QOTD: we don't have cable but have an Apple TV box. We have a Netflix UK subscription and buy a few American shows off iTunes (Parenthood, Mindy Project, East Bound and Down, Mad Men). Occasionally I will stream on my laptop from UK channels so I can watch Nigella or Downton Abbey.
My lack of cable tv plus not having a Facebook account leaves me pretty out of a lot of conversation here. Which I don't mind too much. Not really into the reality TV shows that a lot of the UK folk I know like.

Love the Blacklist!! I'm behind one episode but am really enjoying it. How can you not enjoy James Spader? :-P

I had to write a report on a client recording which will be graded over the next week or so. I get two chances to pass this term, so hoping I pass with this first one so the pressure is off. I spent 5 hours doing it but it's done.
QOTD: There's tons of shows on UK tv, so I tend to watch my shows (Blue Bloods, Dracula, Witches of East End) on tv, though I'm doing a catch up on watching Haven.

Hi there, it is cold here and there is unexpected snow on the ground.
I'm planning to go to a party at the Slovenian Embassy tomorrow. It will feature a traditional native dinner, a Slovenian open bar, art and live entertainment. The new ambassador is flying in a duet ensemble for the evening. I'm looking forward to it if I can figure out how to get there (snow issues).
QOTD: I don't really keep up with American TV shows and I live here. I'm bad at regularly watching tv especially if it requires committed viewing. I do watch a lot of movies. I like being able to watch something for a couple of hours and then to be done with it.
