No post on this one yet? I wish they would dive more into whatever is up with the husband. I'm interested to see where the story line goes with the girl who Red had the picture of thats now "friends" with the husband.
I am still pretty hooked on this show, but I feel like they are really digging a hole with this husband thing. Obviously something is going to come of it, but I can't imagine it won't seem pretty far fetched at this point!
I normally really like this show, but last nights episode didn't really do it for me. The whole adoption agency plot seemed really, really far fetched.
I'm over the whole plot with Liz's husband. Like, I honestly don't care about him at all. I am still curious about what the deal is with Red and Liz though.
For me, this show is all about James Spader. He plays Red so well. It's one of those things were I love his portrayal of the character so much that I root for him even though he's a bad guy.
I was also glad that Parminder Nagra didn't actually turn out to be bad. Yes, she played a part in the whole plot, but she was just following the directives she got.
I still love the show overall, hopefully the next episode will be better.

I'm with you MegKat. I really love James Spader as an actor, though sometimes I don't love his roles. IE, he was such a douche when he was on the Practice, and while he was a womanizing prick at times on Boston Legal, his scenes with William Shatner were imo, some of the best scenes on TV. And he was a creepoid as Robert California on The Office, but...Spader sold the creepiness. It was out of sorts for the overall show, so it wasn't a real success, but he managed own it.
I also don't understand something about the continuity--at the end of the last episode, didn't we see Husband, mad, leave the house and go to the art show with new chick? Then, at the start of this episode everything is somehow behind him and he's ready for the kid and all lovey-dovey with Liz again? Did I miss a post-credit scene or something? Yeah, this episode was only good for the Red story line, not so much for the adoption agency. Though it was nice to see Boris from "royal pains" in a different role!
Bringing up an old topic to discuss the latest episode....I thought the Judge plotline was at least very interesting, though it does frustrate me that whenever Liz can't figure out the answer to a problem, she calls on Red. But I guess that's their relationship.
At least now we know why the husband was so willing to keep working on their relationship when it seemed doomed almost from the start. And at least we know that there IS in fact, an ulterior motive to his relationship with Liz. Granted, I may be a little disturbed but will admit that I was kind of hoping he WOULD have an affair, just because he was so boring otherwise.
Did I see him actually beating up Liz in the previews? Hmmm, I will be interested to see how it all plays out. Then again, I'm also ready for the next episode to be both the Season AND Series finale for this show. If it weren't for James Spader this would just be a more vanilla version of Alias.

I am glad they finally brought out the husband story line. I was wondering if that was the other girl and not Liz that he was fighting with. I want to know what that chick is up to following Red all over the world.
Season finale was boring IMO. We still really don't know anything more than we did going into this last episode of the season, and there was no cliff hanger to really want me to watch next season. All we know is that the husband is apparently a "bad guy." We kinda knew that a few episodes ago.

The last episode wasn't the season finale. There are still four new episodes to come this season. Next episode airs on April 21st, season finale airs May 12th.

I'm glad you said this because I read perkyderky's post that this was the season finale and was ready to throw shit because that was a terrible way to end the season. LOL

I'm really glad that you ladies pointed out my error because I totally thought we were done for the season! The last two episodes have gotten much better, imo, and someone must have told the actress that plays Lizzie to get some acting lessons. She has at least Two expressions now. ;-) I just really REALLY really hope they don't start a romance between Lizzie and her partner. Waaayyyy too Alias/X-Files before that/every-other-show-in-existence.
