It's definitely looking more, um…Lulu-lemony. Less earthy. Lots of solids, prints are a non-so-subtle take on some of LLLs. I love it all and can't wait to visit the store. Also, it's not so cheap.

Yes! I just looked through it last night with the intention of circling a few ideas for my birthday, and just gave up because I was circling everything!
There is a store about to open at the mall by me, and it's going to be baaaaad for my bank account. And, it's 2 doors down from the Lululemon that recently opened. That will be interesting.
An Athleta opened 10 minutes from me in November. The bill for my Banana Republic card has risen dramatically since then and I've been earning rewards at an alarming rate, which then enables me to buy even more. I've officially been sucked in.
I want it all! I was trying to convince myself I need the zinger tank since I wear that style year round at the gym, and in the spring-fall outside, but $59! My wal mart tanks were $7. I always lust over the hoodies and jackets.
I don't care for the store that much either. I feel like they have way too much crammed in there and there is no rhyme or reason to how it is laid out. Maybe they will take the LLL minimalist approach in-store.
I wonder of they would price-match to sales online? Or let you order from the site in store?
Ooh mine hasn't come yet. But I'm sitting here in an awesome athleta shirt after getting home from the gym. Procrastinating on getting in the shower and going to work, I should add.
I have never owned anything from LLL (other than a yoga mat) so I can't compare. But upon a friend's rec, I started shopping at athleta and have been very happy. When I was pregnant the sales associates were beyond helpful pulling stuff from the racks for me to try on to see what could work with my belly. Probably the best shopping experience I've ever had - it was really awesome how considerate they were.
Does Athleta do alterations? Do you know if I can bring in a top that I've had for awhile & have it hemmed? I have the Jaya tank (makes you boobs look AMAZING), but it's pretty long. I would wear it a lot more if it was about 3 inches shorter.

Yes they do, free alterations in-store even if it was purchased online
I ordered a bunch of swimsuits on clearance. A few things were too big so I went back to see if they had them in smaller sizes and was drawn to the regular priced stuff and was in love.
I think it's awesome that they actually have sales though.
I received the catalog yesterday too - there are so many things I want! I've had trouble with Athlete tops in the past, but everything in the catalog looks like it will fit well! Ugh, now to decide what (if anything) to order.
