I got a bunch of swiss chard in my CSA box on Tuesday (6 days ago). I put it in the crisper in my fridge. I plan to cook with it today. Last night I opened the crisper to grab something, and I notice the leaves were soft and kind of droopy/wilty. Did I ruin it by not sealing it in a plastic bag?
I plan to make this recipe tonight, think it will be okay even with semi wilted leaves?

Never put leafy greens in a sealed bag. Always store them in an open-topped bag and stick in a paper towel or two to help absorb moisture and prevent them from getting slimy. Six days is a long time to wait to cook it! I know it's that time of year though, I think I got almost two pounds of various leafy greens in last week's CSA!
I think the roasting recipe will be fine even if they are wilty. They will dry out a bit and the texture won't be an issue.
