My car has a latch system only on the outboard back seats. Is it best to put them in the middle with the seatbelt or outside seat with the latch?
ETA: I'm thinking the middle is still best but Google gives various answers.
Whichever gives you the best install. Unless it's seems the same on both. Then go with middle. For us, we had a way more difficult time getting the seatbelt install tight enough but the latch outboard was rock solid so we kept it there.
If you are struggling with the install, go to the link provided above to find a local Car Seat Tech and they will not only show you how to install properly but also install it for you.
Another thing that I just can't get beat into my husband's head (and we are pregnant with number 3!) is that installing with the base is NO SAFER than installing without the base, as long as you are confident you can get a good install without the base. We have a Keyfit 30 and it's super easy to install without the base, but he swears its safer with the base.

A CPST shouldn't install it for you. They will teach you how to install it and then watch you so you know how to install it.
The FB group Car Seats for the Littles is a great resource. I definitely recommend checking it out.
I am a CPST so if anyone wants to PM me I'd be happy to help if I can. :-)
