"I had every imaginable childhood disease you can imagine, measles, mumps, whooping cough. And so did most children I knew. Not one of them died, not one of them had any long term health complications as a result. And I am quite confident in saying that my immune system is much sturdier than 90% of the people I know and come in contact with. Ever wonder why we have such high incidence of immune system related chronic health problems in this country?"

This makes me shake with anger. I just buried an uncle who passed due to post-polio myelitis, after a lifetime of suffering with the debilitating side effects of childhood polio. I also have a neighbor who would have made one of the greatest fathers ever but cannot have children due to adult chicken pox. That moron needs to stop.
A girl I was friends with in HS is posting similar shit on her FB right now. She busts out with "everyone is entitled to their point of view". No sweetheart. Science isn't a pov. It's science.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
"I often wonder why a parent who believes vaccines are harmful would want to bring their children to a medical doctor at all. After all, for immunizations to be as malign as their detractors claim, my colleagues and I would have to be staggeringly incompetent, negligent or malicious to keep administering them."

EXACTLY! this isn't a matter of "you do what's best for your family". No. It's not just about you. It's about you, your children, the children that come in contact with you children etc etc. we're not talking about a choice that has no impact on anyone else
