I started working out again this week. No running, obviously, but I have been going to circuit class (which may have permanently destroyed my arms), yoga, and tonight I had my first spin class.
The best part is that my FAVORITE spin instructor of all time is back teaching this semester. Yay!
My tendon is bothering me a little, but I'm hoping it will just stay like this and not get worse.
I really do, too. I am hopeful that the reason spin was tough for me before was because everything was so crapped-up from running that I just couldn't handle any activity.
Kams, my plan for now is to try to do 2x spin, 2x yoga and 2x circuit each week. If I start having trouble, the first thing I'll dump is circuit (although that would make me sad because the instructor is so nice and so hot - he is actually the same specimen of pure physical perfection who made me all giddy by smiling and talking to me before).
I might do a water class, but we'll see. I still haven't tried out swimming or water anything since fall, but I want to see if I can swing this stuff first.
I think that plan sounds great! I totally remember mr handsome - woop!
How are you feeling today after spin?
Not worse! I am so happy. I'm a little tender, but I can absolutely live with it at this level. And who knows, maybe it will settle down a little when I get more used to activity again.
