Thanks for sharing! Had no idea there was a swap going on! Seems like a lot to read through, haha.
It's awesome! I've been swapping for a few months. I almost always get rid of the items that I think are crappy, and am surprised at the things people are trading away. Here, everything finds a good home
Start at the last page and work backwards. You'll get the most updated lists that way.
Every time I see a "I'm diasappointed in X sample service" post, I think to myself "Why would someone want to pay for samples?"
They aren't tiny little samples like you get with an Ulta or Sephora order. There is usually something full size or travel size, and the items would retail for more than the $10 monthly subscription.
I haven't gotten my Birchbox yet, but I'm disappointed with the hype over this month's box. For all of the hullabaloo, most of the boxes have pretty mediocre contents.

I asked the same thing a few months ago and people were like "but they can be amazing!". I just don't get it, especially if I can try stuff at Sephora for free!

My first reply here so I hope this works, but I LOVED my Birchbox this month. I got a gold nail polish, a really large sized eye cream, the BB cream, and an Ojon shampoo. There was also one "notecard" in there that I thought was lame, but the samples were perfect for me. This is the first month I liked everything.
I just wish I could figure out how to get things I like more often!

Also, just followed the link and that Glossybox looks amazing. I wonder if they're luring people in and then going to lame boxes like MyGlam did. I think I'll wait a few months before signing up. For some reason $10 to me is just for fun, but $21 is more than I'd want to spend for random samples.
I received the same box you did. I love the mascara but the rest of it were all duds for me.
My sister's box was missing two items this time around so she is cancelling and signing up for the look bag. I might switch depending on what her box looks like next month.

I get Glossybox in the UK and have gotten some great samples - including some which are full sized. Sometimes the stuff doesn't fit, like getting curly hair stuff when I have straight, but overall I really like it. They did an organic box in April, and I got a Caudial serum (small bottle), Inika lip liner (full size), Ayuuri body wash (medium size bottle), Figs & Rouge lip balm (full size) and Protect Your Lovely Hands moisturizer (medium tube).

I haven't gotten mine yet, but when I log in to birchbox and go to "box" I can see which one is coming my way. I'm getting:
Arquiste L'Etrog perfume sample Dr. Jart+ BB Color Club np beautyblender blendercleanser twistband skinny headband birchbox note cards
I'm pretty happy with the selection. The first few boxes I got I wasn't very happy with, but the last couple have been good. Finally got a full size tarte lipsurgence in the last one, so I was a happy gal.
My Box was lame too and it has been for half of my Boxes since I signed up last October. I signed up for Glossybox yesterday. I'll give Birchbox two more months but if Glossybox is as great as I'm reading, I'm going to cancel BB.

I wasn't thrilled with my BB this month either. (I haven't received it yet, but I can view my items on the BB website). I got: Color club nail polish in a pastel Kiehl's Abyssine eye cream Ojon damage reverse conditioner BVLGARI Omni Crystalline perfume and the stupid note cards.
I REALLY wanted the Dior mascara, the Dr. Jart's BB, or the Ojon hair treatment. Now that I see people got headbands that makes me sad too I'm thinking I won't hate my box as much as I think when I get my stuff, but I'm just bummed I didn't get anything I was really looking forward to. Oh well.
Pixy - If you log into birchbox, and click onto box, you should be able to see what you're getting if you want.
I do feel like glossy has a lot to live up to for the price, but I'm giving it a try. I really like Birchbox's point system though, I think its why I'll never be able to break ties.
