I don't keep kosher, but have family that does keep kosher. Avoid shellfish and pork. Pick either meat or dairy. Dairy includes butter and sour cream.
When the kosher family members came to dinner last month, I served cappellini pomodoro, a salad of peaches, romaine and feta in a lemon poppy seed dressing, ciabatta bread and brownies with fresh mint ice cream and hot fudge.

I'm assuming that they aren't extremely strict, because otherwise they wouldn't be able to eat anything you prepared at home since you don't keep a kosher kitchen. As soon as ingredients touched your dishes, utensils, etc. they would no longer be kosher.
Since they're likely more relaxed about it, you should be ok as long as you do what the pps have mentioned - avoid pork products, shellfish, mixing meat and dairy.

This. Personally I would ask them how strict they are. Do they just avoid mixing meats and milks or can they not even have them at the same table.
