Registering for Disney Marathons

I have noticed quite a few of you have done some of the disney runs. I would LOVE to register for the Princess half for next year and make a small family vacation out of it but I have heard that the registration fills up super fast. Do you all have any recommendations on how to get in? I know that registration will probably be later this year but I am going to go ahead and start putting away money in savings to get ready for it.

Keep an eye out on RunDisney.com for dates when they announce registration..I took a look at my records and registered for this Princess Half on 6/11/13 so it will probably be sometime around then this year. They DO sell out very early and very fast so put a reminder on your calendar to log on whenever they open it up!

I set a reminder in my phone and register as soon as it opens.

I think the Run Disney site had trouble with handling the traffic for the Disneyland half registration last week. People had more success going through the active.com portal than clicking through registration from the Run Disney site. I don't know if that is a problem for the other races, but it is something to consider.

When I registered for the Tink half, was on my computer the minute it opened.
