I'm a little sad, but eight years is a pretty good run. It sounds like they knew it was coming enough to be able to give it a good wrap-up. I guess after seeing so many shows I've loved limp along and then just die (I'm looking at you, X-Files!), I'm increasingly more in favor of a solid run and a good ending, like Breaking Bad.
I gueeeesss it was a good run but I seriously get attached. They were leaving it very much open to being renewed so knowing it is ending NEXT MONTH makes me sad. I didn't have time to prepare!
What are some of your favorite moments from the show?
I laughed so hard in the episode where it's a take on Lethal Weapon 2 and Shawn hooks a chain or something to the Blueberry and drives away, hoping to crash the house down...cut to the next scene where the car is at the shop and it's broken in half.

I can't even remember which episode, but Gus is trying to drag Shawn away from somewhere and Shawn just goes limp, and Gus yells, "Don't go boneless on me!" We used to say that to our kid all the time when he'd try to pull that trick.
Oh look, I found a gif! I love the internet.
Not to mention googling it found me this awesome Pinterest board:
I love how a random thing that I wouldn't have thought anyone but me thought funny is actually funny to other people.

Lol yes!!!! I remember that. There are just too many amazing zingers. I'm gonna miss this show.
I'm fine with it ending too. Agreed that they had a good run. What I love most about the show are the homages to other great shows and movies (Twin Peaks, Clue, etc.) and the fact that they cater to the fans, not the general viewing public. Sounds like they had fun writing the episodes and filming together.
Hopefully, both James and Dule go on to do other great things.
