Buying an indoor bike trainer was the best decision I've made all winter. I love this thing, and it's wonderful to be able to ride MY bike now, rather than having to wait until it gets warm enough to get outside here in Chicago (which might be never?). It's not fancy, but it's not super loud (I live in a condo with hardwood floors and my downstairs neighbors haven't complained yet).
I must try the Foot Rubz- I was using a lacrosse ball but it got lost (I blame the dog).
My raves- Target C9 winter running tights. I bought them based on a rec from this board and I now own 3 pairs. For under $30 they are comfortable and warm (down to 10 degrees for me), and I love that they have an inner drawstring and a zip pocket in the back waist for my key.
Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt French Onion Dip. Seriously, this is like crack to me. I go through a container a week.
Coconut oil. I cook with it, use it as a moisturizer, even as a deep conditioner for my hair. I also love my Burt's bees Chapstick.
Good one! We also give this to our dog occasionally. Hopes were it would help with her allergy skin, but we can't tell. It does however help with doggie breath :-)
These are good ones so far! I'm a fan of coconut oil too and have been researching bike trainers so that's helpful.
Greek Yogurt French Onion Dip? I did not know this existed. If I gain 5 pounds, it's your fault labbie.
That's the beauty of it- there's only 25cals in 2tbsp, but the kicker is to be careful what you're dipping in it! I eat some daily as a veggie dip, but my favorite is with chips of course. Even with veggies it tastes very indulgent, and is a nice switch from hummus (which I also love).

LLL Groovy Run Shorts - I bought a pair recently and I have been wearing them for my treadmill runs. I love them so much. I want to buy a million more pairs, but I'll wait until it's warmer.
Ditto the Foot Rubz ball. A few of us got it in the SS exchange, and I love mine!
I'm also a lover of the LLL Groovy Run shorts.
Now that they've made some adjustments from version 2, I'm back to singing the praises of the Pureflows, but that's obviously going to be very foot specific.
ETA: I purchased some fleece lined running tights from Target that I love. I've never owned full tights (since they are needed approximately 2 days all year), but they were affordable, and so comfortable! I wear them around the house when I want to feel cozy.

I just bought them when Target was running the 40% off the C9 line. I love them so much. I was wary about the drawstrings, but I'm sold. Bonus: they make my legs and ass look good.

I was going to say this! These tights keep me so warm even in single digit weather, so I'm impressed.
Also I have an Under Armour zip up infrared storm sweatshirt. It does and amazing job as keeping my warm on my cold runs. I just wear a long sleeved shirt under it and I'm good to go.
They're nothing special, but so incredibly versatile and transcend seasons since they are lightweight enough to throw in your purse in warm weather months to ward off the indoor A/C chill.

And now I'm shopping...lol
I know...this thread is bad for me!
They are very reasonably priced and I wear the crap out of mine -- so you can use these justifications when you order

tuggyruns I really want to try a pair of Hokas but damn, the cost!
Eermgah! LIFE CHANGING. I found mine on sale for $130- so. worth it. Yes, I am being an enabler.
I wear a 6 and run in a 7. What size do I want? And which model (I don't run trail ever)?
I'll keep an eye out for a pair. I ran 2 laps in them once when I ran into a random girl in the locker room with a pair, but it wasn't enough to truly evaluate.
