I'm a newbie runner -- started C25K (well, re-started after several failed attempts over the past 5 years) at the beginning of November. Since then, I've done a couple 5Ks but never really felt that great about the results. This morning, though, I got a solid PR (shaved almost 1.5 min off my 5K from last month) and actually felt amazing and strong at the end. I also was able to tack on another 1.5 miles so I could get my 10K training run in.
Today's official "chip time" was 34:11. Super slow comparatively, but man I've been chasing a sub-35 5K for awhile. Yay!
