Good Morning!!!

Weekend was a lot of fun! We went to a fundraiser for one of the colleges here, at a local hotel. We had a great time :-) Saturday, we watched two more Oscar films! (American Hustle and 12 Years a Slave). Both were good!

QOTD: Hit the snooze button :-P After that, I usually check email, FB and Twitter before getting out of bed :-)

Good morning!

Weekend was uneventful. DH went snowboarding on Saturday, leaving me with the baby. So we went shopping. Well, I only got stuff for her but it was still fun. Yesterday, we spent the whole day indoors. The weather here was so weird... a sudden hail storm, then clouds and wind, then snow and rain, then sun.

Today, DD and I are supposed to have a couple of meet-ups with friends but I don't know if we're going to make it. She's been coughing since last week and I don't know if I should really expose the other children to it. Although, we did go to the Dr last Friday, she didn't seem to think we should limit our activities since this virus is just one of those things that can be found everywhere. And she was probably already contagious before we even knew it. So, I'm undecided.

QOTD: I wish I needed an alarm again. I try to ignore the first couple of cries, hoping she'll fall back asleep or play by herself for a little while. But if the alarm just won't stop, I go pick it up, smother it with kisses, then change it's diaper.

Good morning! On Saturday we went across the border to Germany to explore the city of Oldenburg. It was a bit smaller than expected but we had a good time anyway. We went to an all you can eat sushi place for dinner and did a pretty good job. On Sunday we just relaxed at home.

Today I need to work on a syllabus and write an application letter. Also wanted to bake for book club tonight.

QOTD: I go turn on the coffee maker.

Good morning!

The weekend was easy. I work up at 2:30 on Saturday morning to watch the Opening Ceremonies live, and have been glued to the tv watching Olympics coverage since. But I also managed to get my house cleaning done and two loads of laundry while it's been on. It was really too hot to do anything else. I will be so happy when summer is over. I'm tired of nothing but hot, dry weather. I need regular rain.

QOTD: I get up when the alarm goes off. Once I am awoken, it's extremely difficult for me to get back to sleep, so I just get up and start my day. DH hits the snooze button every 5 minutes for an hour and it drives me batty if I don't leave the room.

Morning! Weekend was nice but a little too quiet. I need to make the effort to go out more.

QOTD: hit snooze & cuddle up with H another ten minutes before getting up.

Hi!
Had my first day back at work after maternity leave. It's unclear what job I'll be doing as while I was away they reorganized, si my day was a meeting, an hour of nothing, pumping, another hour of nothing, another meeting and out the door to pick up DD. (on my way to daycare now).

Our weekend was nice. We visited my ILs and just had lazy family time the rest of the weekend.

QOTD: before pregnancy: snooze 5 times, then rush out the door, during pregnancy, go to the bathroom, have decaf and breakfast, now: what's an alarm??

Hi all!
It's been too long and I finally have a moment to get on here.

Weekend was nice, watched a lot of Olympics. Saturday morning I decided we needed a new matress, so we went out and shopped around. We got a great deal and I can't wait till they deliver on Wednesday!

QOTD: I get up as soon as the alarm goes off. After openeing my eyes, the first thing I do is put on fuzzy socks.

Hello! Happy Monday We went to the indoor waterpark yesterday and then watched the olympics. Our bathroom is getting remodeled so half of the weekend was spent listening to them work in the bathroom and trying to comfort our poor cat who is terrified.

QOTD: I turn off the alarm and roll over to stretch and to pet the cat for a few minutes before my other alarm goes off.
