aka New Rules of Lifting for Women
I have a couple questions.
First, it says to alternate some of the sets (push ups, rows, push ups, rows), but I don't see how that's possible to do in a crowded gym without losing my machine. It's okay if I just finish one exercise and then do the other, right?
Second, how did you decide how much weight to use for the weighted ones? I am okay with pushing myself with squats and other leg exercises, but I don't want my arms to be too sore. I have a heavy baby and already struggle holding him for too long, so I don't want my muscles to be so broken down that I struggle with him and his carseat. Is that dumb? I fully realize I won't get all the benefits of pushing my limits.
Any other advice about the program?
ALSO--deadlifts. How to I load a bar? How do I avoid being intimidated by them?
