I have been trying to not pulling it back as much and it really seems to help. I definitely agree that long side swept bangs hide the front and one side.

I just pinned this. It's a straight style but I think could be cute curly because of all the layers. I am having the same issue as you. My hairs are growing back and look terrible. Plus on too of that my curls have given up and decide by the end of the day to just look horrible so that the baby hair sticks straight up over the curly long hair instead of hiding. I want my old hair back.

I have the exact curls as you maybe a little looser. I have to keep mine shoulder length because statightening is a bitch and I've just learned to embrace my curls . I have to wash my hair everyday though. I do have side bangs that I usually pin back . I like the long bob pic you posted! ETA: If you do plan on wearing curly most days make sure to put a few layers so your hair doesn't look like a triangle!
Didn't you recently cut blunt bangs? Have they helped at all?
Yes they helped but the up keep is annoying. They have to be super clean to lay correctly & need to be trimmed a lot. I've grown them out long enough that I can get them reshaped into side swept.
Ah yes, I remember that from when I had blunt bangs.
Aside from cutting shorter layers in the front and using some products to tame those flyaways, I wouldn't know what else to do. Sorry about your baby hairs

I think side swept bangs would look great and I love the picture of the long bob you posted. It would seem that lots of layers, including some face framing ones, would help tame the new hairs.
I have curly hair and when it was shorter I had lots of baby hairs around my hairline; I've found that cutting lots of layers around the front and then taking more hair out of the ponytail/updo makes the flyaways look intentional. I'll pull my hair up with my hands, then pull curls out along my hairline and then put an elastic in. Like this: www.hairromance.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Hair-Romance-curly-hairstyle-tutorial-the-curly-ponytail.jpg It wasn't until my hair grew out that I've been able to pull all my hair up without crazy fly-aways.
I wash my hair every 2-3 days. I wear it down the first day, possibly half-up on the 2nd day (usually up), and up on the 3rd day. My curls just don't look good down after day 1.
I loved my inverted bob. I never straighten my hair, but I think that cut would work either way.

I have curly hair too and cut my hair in a long bob right before christmas. I really like it. It wears nice curly or straight. I can't pull it into a pony tail without bobby pin sans clips but it's pushing me to try a few new things.
I think side swept bangs are the way to go. They'll help to cover the baby hairs, and will be easier to maintain than full on blunt bangs. Good luck at your appointment!
I've been there three times now and I found the re-growth least noticeable and annoying with blunt bangs. But then the bangs themselves were a pain in the ass, like you mentioned above. Can't win!
I also hate my post-partum hair! My hairdresser said that I'll probably never get rid of the baby hairs that are now along my hairline, ugh!!! I'm dying for a long bob like you posted, buy my hair is too thick to blow dry and it would require me to straighten it! I bet yours looks great!

I hope this doesn't sound creepy since I don't post super often, but you are gorgeous and I highly doubt any hair cut, no matter how bad, could make you look bad. That being said, it's probably not bad at all, just new. I agree with the others, go home and play with it and hopefully you will find a style that makes me you better about the new cut. Don't cry!
I think it's cute. It's a big change from what you had but I think it looks good. Give it a couple more days of paying with it and maybe you will find a way to style it that works for you.
Phew! Ok it doesn't look no where near as bad as you said it was! It is a bit short for my liking but your hair will grow out longer before you know it! Have you tried styling it with a center part? Did you get the bangs cut? If not, a side swept bang might look good with the way you have your styled now.

I think it looks great. 8 inches off is a big change, and I'm sure you will get used to it/hair will grow. But you do NOT look like a soccer mom at all. So stop it with that nonsense.
I've done a big chop before and I always hated it the first couple of days, but then it grew on me, so I understand how you feel, but I think your haircut looks adorable (not mom like at all).
