I'll be there! So ready for anything over 30 degrees! I haven't been running outside much but I doubt we'll run more than a few miles at a time. We plan on taking pictures with every character we can! My best friend from High School and I are meeting there (she's in California) and I can't wait.

This is bascially a 13.1 mile fun run for me. I have not trained for it as much as liked an envision a lot of walking. But i will be wearing a tiara so it will all be ok.
i be typing from me phone. typos and grammer dont count.

I feel you. It's my sister's first half and she says she'll want to stop for a few character photos along the way. Which I don't normally do. I'm trying to just get myself in the mindset now: haven't trained as much as I should have and the plantar faciitus and it's her race. Except I made breakfast reservations with speedy taratru for 10:30. I might be a little stressed about that. Andplusalso - when the hell did they add eleventy bagillion corrals? There were like four the last time I did this race. I am in freaking I! LS is in J so I'm moving back too. Grrrr...
I'm doing Sarasota's First Watch half in March, so that'll be my A race. I keep telling myself this. So far I haven't really listened so well.

My A race was the Philly half in Nov. It was a great experience. I just accepted that my friend and I are going to just enjoy the race, screw around with photos etc. I will take some time off from running and just up my PT to get my knee/leg better and then hope to train for another fall race. This winter has not been kind and I am not enough of a badass to run outside when it is like this. I know I will finish it, it will certainly just not be a speedy time.
in the meantime please enjoy my nerdiness. I sent this in a text to my sis last night. My 6 year niece is over the top into princesses and can't wait to see Auntie Bulldog's "parade." I leave in seven days and it cannot come soon enough. i have pink compression shorts and am working on some type of skirt this weekend. i anticipate the shoulders will completely fall off or be ripped off by mile 3.

secretlyevil, that tank is super super cute. I can't wait to get the visor with that tiara on it that someone posted here a few months ago. I love good cheesy schtick like that.
