I start with a banana (not frozen but really ripe), a scoop of protein powder and from there, whatever fruit I happen to have frozen in the freezer. I like to keep strawberries, peaches and other random berries in there. I'll add either a splash of milk or some yogurt for liquid. I've also put in peanut butter sometimes.
I keep it very simple and prefer all vegetables. Handful of greens (spinach, kale, chard blend), small chunk of fresh ginger, 1 c water and 1 tbsp protein powder. I prefer to eat my fruit whole, so I don't bother adding them to my smoothies.
