What do you do to protect your nipples while you run? I don't have huge boobs (36C on a good day) so I don't need super support, but my poor nipples can't take much more abuse. Between DD trying to gnaw them off, and trying to run, they are in a sad state of affairs. I have the medela disposable breast pads, and I also have the washable (which I don't like).. but it still feels like they are about to rub right off.
Maybe I do need more support so they are bouncing as much? help.

I had to switch to a super, super supportive bra so I didn't have any bouncing at all. I switched to Moving Comfort Jubralee. I also vastly prefer bamboobies or whatever they're called for breast pads - they're a lot softer. They're expensive, but they're also more absorbent, so they were worth it for me.
lanolin and a tight sports bra Ahhhh there were times I thought mine were burning off - it got much better and I really enjoyed our nursing relationship. I hope you find some relief soon.

Ditto the other posters on Lanolin or other ointment I actually do Aquaphor, so as not to stain my shirts.
It got better for me once my supply regulated, around 8ish weeks? You should be turning that corner sooner. I was wearing double sports bras plus nursing pads each run, and it was still uncomfortable
I'm not that well endowed either, even when nursing. I've been able to transition to some Marika sports bras I bought at TJMaxx with removable padding. Little more coverage and nip protection than the C9 bras from Target I normally wear.

I'm having the same problem. After my little run yesterday my nipples have been burning :/
Yesterday when I was in Target I saw the now have nursing sports bras. They look super supportive and the inside was very soft. I would have bought one but my kids were acting up and I needed to hurry up. I'm planning on going back today and buying one.
