I'm started walking/jogging on the treadmill the past few weeks. A few hour after I run and the whole next day, I feel like there is a air bubble in the hip area. Anyone know what this is and how to prevent it?
Where on the hip? Is it towards the front? I'm not really clear on the air bubble description, but my hips can feel off/odd when my hip flexors are angry. I stretch & foam roll them...but I'm not sure that's what you're talking about.
Does it happen on the road? The treadmill gives me all sorts of weird aches.

It is toward the front. I have only been running on the treadmill.
Are you wearing good shoes? I had some knee weirdness because I just wore random sneakers at first without getting fitted.
Another thing I noticed when jogging on the treadmill is my stride is a bit different/shorter than my 'natural' stride on the road. It just took some time to get used to it.
It could be that I am on the treadmill. I have only ever run on the road before.
Not really understanding the "air bubble" description but if it's in the front it could be your hip flexors like people stated. Does it hurt or feel tight there when you bring your knee up to your chest? There is a bursa there and that could be inflamed causing it to feel fuller which may be your air bubble description. Ice it and stretch your hip flexors and see how it goes
