This is gross, and way TMI, but I need help, please! My employer has a program where they'll match us with student trainers in the company gym (so, surrounded by people we know and work with professionally, including the President, who is participating in the program.) Today was my first day.
So you remember that thing where everyone said Fergie peed herself and she was like, "No way! It was just ass sweat runoff!" and everyone else was like "no way!"? I believe Fergie now. Thank goodness I had the sense to wear black sweat pant like pants so it wasn't terrible. To be fair, I think a lot of it was just running down my back.
Those of you who have a similar...um...problem what kind of pants do you wear when working out? Obviously, grey is out. Those of you who aren't disgusting sweaters, please don't pop in to brag about it. It's only been a half an hour and it already hurts to type, so I'm in for punishment enough tonight.
Well...I sweat like crazy. I think it would help if you wore some kind of wicking material rather than (presumably cotton) sweat pants. I usually wear shorts when I run, and those have a liner so I really don't even know if this would be an issue for me, because the liner keeps it from becoming one.

I can't figure out how to PIP, but do you mean like a bicycle short type liner under swishy shorts or a liner like a swimsuit or underwear has (just that little piece of cotton?) Clearly I don't know the terminology yet.
I have some serious ass / crotch sweat, it's super embarrassing when I realize that the entire bike seat is drenched. I wear the spandex-y running capris, I haven't found anything that helps so I figure that I'm more comfortable with my sweat close and still vs moving and swishing around my lower part.

Like built in underwear. Most running/workout shorts have them. Maybe there's a specific name that I don't know, lol.

Black wicking fabric. I have super cute capris in pink and blue, but can't wear either of them if I plan on actually working out b/c it is a very embarassing look! I have some dark gray ones that are passable, but I try to stick with the black.
fellow sweater here, and i only wear black to work out. i do have some cotton blend danskin capris that i wear because they are so darn comfy, but i agree non cotton would be best.
Team exclusively black wicking workout bottoms. Definitely invest in workout bottoms (and shirts) made from non absorbent, wicking materials because it helps keep sweat and moisture away from your skin and off your clothes because it evaporates faster than cotton or other absorbent fabrics. I sweat a lot, black/dark color wicking fabrics are your friend. I like the Old Navy compression pants. They do have several different types of athletic ones, the stretchier ones are the wicking. I have a light purple cotton/spandex blend from there and those make me look like a peed myself after a good spin class so those puppies are for house lounging and stretching only!
