Santa Fe, New Mexico in August

We'd like to do a weekend in Santa Fe in late August. I'd appreciate any and all recommendations on where to stay, where to eat, and what to do. We'll be driving if that makes any difference.

Any suggestions?

I don't know about where to stay because I only live an hour away, but for food I highly recommend Harry's Roadhouse. Geronimo's is good if you are looking for something a litttle pricier.

When I was there I stayed at The Inn and Spa at Loretto. It was ok, but nothing special enough that I want to stay there again. Next time I'm going to make reservations at La Fonda on the Plaza. Both are very central, near all the touristy stuff and tons of restaurants.

If you can afford it, there is a hotel called The Inn of the Five Graces which sounds amazing. I've never seen people rave so much about a hotel. Definitely out of my budget though.
