if anyone still nests. I popped over there this morning for the first time in ages and it looks like the old board is pretty dead. The board also congratulated me with a 9 year badge... wth are those for?

I bump, and they have an international bumpies board, but I stopped going over there when the format changed and I no longer found it easy to just click between boards.

I Nest, because the book club made it through the exodus by hiding on a sub-board. Now I mostly just enjoy the crazies on a few of the other boards.
The badges are the new Nesticles. You get them for your board anniversary, you number of posts, and your number of "Love It" votes.
I've actually gotten used to the new format. But it has huge security holes. I could really screw with the boards the way you could waaaaay back in my Knot days. Speaking of "way back in my Knot days," my anniversary badge is actually "Ancient" which is apparently what happens when you hit 11 years. I realized the other day that one of the new brides who was posting was only 9 years old when I joined the Knot. Ouch.

Only 9 when you joined the knot....oh god, we are getting old. yikes. I can hardly believe that it's been 9 years since I joined.

Since I officially joined when DH and I were engaged, I think it has been about 10 years for me... I haven't seen a badge yet for that, though.
perhaps you need to log on :-)
Yes, experienced. That's the word! Any for the gray hairs on my head?
Is it different for TK and TB? I thought I had the same log-in... maybe I already got the ancient badge and missed it I don't usually pay attention to them.
And your gray hairs are your proof of experience, also known as Erfahrungsnachweise. Save them, you'll probably need to hand them in with your next resume
