I've got a cold and am now feeling extra crappy. Of course I don't want to take anything - plus my symptoms aren't THAT bad (just annoying) - and the medicine I CAN take isn't gonna help that much.
Non pregnant news - I'm getting a job back - not so much my former job but a new 'role' where I get to be the 'bad cop' between the 2 consulting companies that are redesigning our website... except both are in India so it means completely turning my life upside down (aka conference calls at 10:30pm for me). I'm happy to be getting paid, but not thrilled about the job.

I had my 15w appointment yesterday. We heard the heartbeat again and the smile on DH's face was amazing. The anatomy scan has been scheduled for 19w, I'm so excited! The only thing that I wasn't so happy about was the doctor is making me do the 24 hour pee in a jug thing due to pre hypertension. I am still getting sick/nauseous several times a day but I am finally able to keep most food down. I have lost 8 pounds since the BFP in December.
Thanks for thinking of me. I was released from the hospital on Saturday but am only barely hanging on on staying out... my blood pressure is too high. Every time I take it I struggle with whether I need to call the doctor. I have an appointment tonight and won't be surprised if I end up hospitalized again.

Kershnic, I was thinking about you last night too. Did they say how far along they will let you go? How many weeks are you now?
I didn't realize there was a check in on here until just now and I'm at the end! 39w,1d today, I have my first internal exam this afternoon. :?
This is a boring week for me. I just got home from my 33w appt but nothing going on. I was fully introduced to heartburn this last week, I have never experienced it before and it sucks! I stopped by the store on the way home from my appt for some Tums!.
kershnic--I hope your BP settles down, those girls need a few more weeks!

There's no set deadline.... I think it just depends on how long they can keep me/them healthy. My BP was controlled when I was on IV mag in the hospital so I wonder if that's where I'll be headed again.
I can't believe you're almost there! How exciting!
I'm in 3rd tri as of this week! Still feeling pretty good overall but had a big asthma flare-up over the weekend. Luckily just a little increase in meds and I'm feeling much better (I was on such a low dose to start with that even the increase is still barely a dose). Oh and we bought a crib last week. There is a crib in my house!
Not much pg related updates. I'll have my anatomy scan in 3 wks.
I've been buried in work since mid-Jan and the last 7 days have been a killer. But, as of this afternoon, the worst crunch time is over. We're going to St. John on Sat for a week and I CAN. NOT. WAIT!

Sorry I didn't see this before! Appointment went well... my doctor seems pretty prepared to let my blood pressure be high as long as babies look okay and I don't show any other signs of pre-eclampsia. He's a high-risk specialist who really seems to know what he's talking about so I'm trusting him. Hopefully I don't have a heart attack or stroke.
I had the NT scan and 1st part of the quad screen blood test yesterday. Everything looks good, so far. I go back on March 20th for more blood work. A/S scheduled for 4/17.

I will be 34w next wednesday and my doctor said he won't stop labor if it happens beyond that point. Shit's getting really real. I guess I have been ignoring the fact that I'm getting so close but hearing that really made it seem right around the corner!

34w does seem to be a big milestone! I can't believe we're both almost there! My doctor hasn't specifically said that he won't stop labor after that, but he did make it clear that his standards for delivery drop a lot (and I'm having a c-section, so I don't know how that plays into things). With my blood pressure problems it seems likely that it will either be high BP or pre-eclampsia that get me, but who knows! Hopefully you'll have a few more weeks than me with a singleton. My sister had my nephews at 34w4d so that number has always kind of hung in my head.
