1. It's Wednesday.

2. Work is busy which is good for job security, bad for me being able to post.

3. I'm taking a short break now since I'm frustrated with this thing I'm working on.

4. I hate that the Olympics broadcasting is so choppy and jumping around. It makes it hard to watch and normally I love watching.

5. E was such a lovebug last night and this morning. She is almost 8, tell me this will last longer!

6. Amazon prime is way too convenient. Ha!

7. Missing the regulars on this board.

8. I need some new recipes to mix up our routine.

9. E is going on a tour of the Mariners' home field tomorrow with her mid-winter break group. Wish I was going!

1. It's Wednesday. I'm not very good at doing this on Tuesdays.

2. It is so awesome outside right now (well, compared to what it's been). My mom and I went for a walk at lunch, but the snow is all melting and the roads were really wet, and somehow I managed to step in a puddle or splash or something and the back of my left pant leg is soaking wet.

3. This week is...better. I think.

4. I'm so stressed about taxes. This whole "single filing status with the state and married with the feds" is for the birds, man.

5. I made banana bread last night and slightly overcooked it. My wife said "good thing I took two minutes off your timer when you weren't looking!" I said "yeah, good thing. Except that it wasn't quite ready when the timer went off, so I put it in for an extra 5 minutes that I probably wouldn't have if it had been in for that 2 extra minutes to begin with."

6. I totally blame her for the over doneness. It still tasted good, though.

7. I'm not feeling particularly productive at work this week.

8. I did get a lot done at home on Monday, though. We have been so close to having the kitchen remodel totally finished, we just need to get around to finishing the tile backsplashes. I made a lot of progress toward finishing it.

9. My baby got hamsters last week. He named them Tico and Robot. They are very cute, but very messy. My wife keeps saying "we should clean the cage." I think she's passive-aggressively trying to get me to do it, but unless she outright asks me it's not going to happen. Yes I agreed to it, but they were her idea, she got them, and since she was told that she's allergic to cats a few months ago (after having had ours for like 12 years) I'm doing solo litter box duty.

10. I should probably go try to be productive...

1. L had to go to work late tonight. I wonder if I'll still be awake when she gets home. *yawn*

2. I am not an Olympics watcher. I admit it. I was regular programming back, please.

3. Our computers were down today at work. Made getting anything done next to impossible.

4. I need to drink more water. Hell, I need to drink some water.

5. C fell asleep on the way home from school and doesn't seem like he is going to fall asleep easily tonight. Boo.

6. K - the boys are still super cuddly at nearly 8y too. I love it.

7. L's birthday is in less than 2 weeks. I have ordered a lot of stuff that needs to arrive on my doorstep.

8. I interviewed potential interns today. Made me glad I am not interviewing.

9. I need to find a new good book.

10. I am starving. G's leftover mac and cheese from dinner really wasn't filling.

1. Because I'm nosey, what happened butterfly? I feel like I'm missing something. If you don't want share that's fine, I just don't understand.
2. Getting used to my commute is challenging, it's 40 mins now. Ugh
3. My bday is on Sunday, 25, and I'm not gonna lie I'm sad about it. I just thought I'd be in a different place than I am. Oh well I'm working on it. I need to stop comparing my life, my career, my marriage to others.
4. I want a nissan leaf soooo bad.
5. Julie's Prius is still at the body shop from when she wrecked in the ice storm... 3 weeks ago.
6. I've been cooking at home a lot more.
7. I'm worried no one will come to my bday part next weekend...
8. Our taxes are disasterous can't decide if we should file married joint or married separate, then you've got the married Iowa taxes, but I didn't live there this year at all only Julie did. Etc etc ugh
