Some of his college buddies are in town so we had dinner as a group and then I took the kids home and he went out with them. I took the car so I figured he'd come home in the morning.

About a half hour ago DS2 starts squawking for a bottle so I was in our room making it (with my back to the door) when I hear a dude say "helloooooo". OMG I think I jumped a foot. I had no idea he was home, either he was the one who woke the baby or the timing was a total coincidence.

Gah! My heart is still pounding.

My DH did that to me last week! He left for work and I started cleaning out our front closet, I was literally all the way in the closet with my back facing out when he said something right behind me. I was shaking for a few minutes! He had come back to tell me something- I was like holy hell make a little noise next time before you're on top of me
