This is gross!!!
I sweat *down there* when exercising.
At first, I thought it was a bladder control issue, so I started wearing a panty liner, but whenever I get off a machine that I have to sit on, I notice that there is still some dampness on the seat even though my pad stays dry.
I assume that my hush hush is sweating? Or maybe the sweat is just working it's way down my body and trying to escape from whatever means necessary?
I always put a towel down and I wipe the machine when I'm done, but is there anything else I can do to prevent the "Why So Wet?" problem?
My back also sweats but I can't do anything about that.
Should I put deodorant/anti-perspirant on my hush-hush? Also, I'm noticing that my sweat really stinks now. In the past, I could get really sweaty and still not stink. Those days are in the past. When I get really sweaty, I have full on STANK. Is it just aging? Diet? Hormones?
What's your best deodorant/anti-perspirant? I really can't stand my own stank and I shower everyday. I'm not dirty, I just stink when I sweat.

yep I sweat everywhere and there are times my sweat smells worse than others - specifically if I've been dehydrated or at various parts of my cycle.
I don't think you should put deodorant on your hush hush... that sounds like a good way to get a yeast infection or at the very least major irritation.
You might try getting some fast drying / perspiration wicking pants/shorts that might help air it all out.
Since my hysterectomy I've noticed this issue. Even with premarin (hormone) I still had the issue. Since I've started effexor it's been a bit better (no more hot flashes!). It's still not back to my premenopause self though.

Do you wear clothes that are designed to wick it away? Like, even undies? I get totally gross everywhere, but I find that wearing dry-fit (that's the NIke version) or something similarly designed helps a lot. Undies included if you wear those. I can't not wear underwear when I work out, so I got some thongs from 6pm that work the same way.
I also think that other people don't smell you as much as you smell you, if that makes sense. i work out w/ people every day who are sweating buckets and I don't notice. Maybe because we're all stank, so it doesn't matter? I don't know. I never thought anything of people sweating their asses off at the gym because that's kind of the point.
But, for deodorant recommendations (for arm pit use ) I really like Secret Clinical Strength. It's a little pricey though. Or I use a Dove deodorant. I feel Dove works really well! I used to use regular Secret and it just didn't make the cut.

I wear cotton undies, the kind that cover my entire ass.
I don't mind sweating, I just don't like the crotch sweat.
I agree that I think we smell our own stink when others don't. I see people that are sweating more than I do but I don't notice the stank.

When I took women's health in college I remember learning all about how natural it is for us to sweat in our lady bits and that is how dresses/skirts came about. We girls need to let the air circulate. That is all I have to add. Just wipe down. It is good you are working that hard!
I'm going to share a story with the class. I was doing a treadmill workout and was having one of those moments where I felt like the hottest chick in the gym. Sure, I was sweaty and stinky, but I was killing this run! II stretch and head home. I walk into my house and my brother is standing in the kitchen and yells "omg what's wrong with you? Did you... Pee?" I'm like WTF is he talking about. Go look in the mirror and am shocked at how wet my pants are. Nope, not pee, I am just gross. Also you will never find me in non-black workout pants again.
The sudden change in smell is unusual. Maybe run your workout clothes/sports bras etc through a laundry cycle with some white vinegar. Perhaps your workout clothes have some trapped bacteria that is making the stink when you sweat?
This. When I just tossed my workout clothes in the wash with other things, I noticed the smell down there half way through my workout. Now I save them all up and wash them in hot water with vinegar and baking soda. I still stink but not as bad as it was.

If they're non-cotton, they probably have some sort of moisture wick system. I think most do these days. You'll still sweat, but it won't sit there as much as if you have cotton pants that will just retain it. I think you're all good though, just wipe up and move on. Work it!
I sweat a lot too. I just go with it, but I DO wear black pants/shorts. It really bothers me when people who have sweaty asses/crotches wear light gray pants. It just draw attention to the issue.
Wicking underwear/pants help. But, honestly, I just throw a towel down now.
Get some wicking underwear. They have some cheap C9 ones at Target - the bikini briefs are pretty high waisted and the boy shorts cover everything. It will make a big difference!
