Nothing fun happening, just a list of to-dos of which only half appeal to me. We're leaving for Paris on Saturday and so I want to have finished my article draft and have the house clean for our cat sitter. I'm dragging my feet to get my act together and do it. Tonight I have Alanon.
QOTD: go out for dinner at our neighborhood French restaurant. I know, I'm boring...

Yay Wednesday!! So close to the weekend :-)
Agenda today is work, then teaching Zumba, and then heading out for a friend's birthday.
QOTD: My favorite thing to do in Doha is definitely an evening at Jazz at Lincoln Center, in the St. Regis. It's fun for a date night or with a group of friends!

So far the day has been insanely busy, and I'm hoping and praying the girls can nap well despite the fact that the kitchen in the downstairs suite (which we'll be renting out asap) is being installed today and there's drilling and hammering going on.
QOTD: I suppose dinner and a movie, although we get to do that about once a year...

Hello. I'm tired today. It's been a busy week so far with the start of the academic year and I'm not used to working fulltime again yet!
QOTD: I love going to the movies. We never did it that often. DH doesn't really like it that much. And we don't have a babysitter yet, so it doesn't look like we'll be doing it for awhile. Though there is a new open air cinema here all summer. It'll be past DS's bedtime though, not sure I want to push him like that.
Meh, I'm sick. I woke up with a cold. I've had better days. I'm feeling achy and tired but I couldn't sleep well.
QOTD: I like a lot of different activities. I like going out to different neighborhoods. I also like dining out. I like movies. I like feeling better than this.
I spend time doing a lot of different things around here. Probably one of the more specific things about DC is the amount of cool types of evening cultural networking events.

Hey ladies! Another Wednesday. The work day only started a couple hours ago here, so I'm just in the beginning of my day. After work, I have Girl Scouts to lead, so that'll be a lot of energy burn!
QOTD: We're pretty low key. A favorite thing to do would probably be go out for sushi, maybe take in a movie? Not a lot going on in our town. LOL

Hiya! It's definitely way past morning here but hi everyone! We just put in an offer on a flat so we're all mortgages, all the time in my house. We've been renting for 12 years now so it's quite the jump.
QODT: Well, lately it's all about capitalising on sleep :-) But in general there's tons going on here! The couple times we've sorted out babysitting we've gone to the little local cinema near us and cozied in with some wine on their comfy couches. There are a couple restaurants on my street that are fantastic when I have a moment as well.
I have to go to the Laundromat today. Have no desire to go. Hoping that at least enough snow melted so I can get our car out of it. And I'll probably be at our corner digging out the drain. We have rain the the forecast.
H has been working real late. He comes home past 8:30 and then is stressed. So it's already been a stressful week.
QOTD: If it's summer looking for an activity to do at one of the parks. There is always something going on like outdoor movies, music, plays ect. It's fun to see. Just bring your blankets and chairs.

Good Morning! It's Thursday morning now and I'm a bit sad. My neighbors are moving. I knew they were planning it, they put their house up for sale at the beginning of the month, but I'm really very sad about it. We weren't great friends, but still, I'm going to miss them. And I doubt I'll ever have such nice polite neighbors. Rumour has it they're moving because the guy behind them complained about their lamb and their son's drumming. I know the police and CPS came when they first got the lamb because someone complained there was a baby crying all day and nothing was being done. I am really very upset by this move.
QOTD: I live in a small, rural town. There really isn't much to do on a evening out. There are about 6 restaurants, only 4 of which are really worth considering, and the movie theater is open every other weekend. It's really very boring round here after 6:00 p.m.
