Favorite Kindle freebies?

I'm looking for some new freebies for my Kindle.

I finished Summer of Firefly Memories by Joan Gable recently. While not always well-written, I did really enjoy the story about sisterly bonds and summer romances.

Even though I have nearly 900 free Kindle books (not counting the public-domain classics), I think I've only read four of them!

Of the four I've read, I thought Sandra Bricker's Always the Baker, Never the Bride was decent. It's Christian chick lit, but it wasn't preachy or overtly religious, and the heroine wasn't stereotypically clueless.

Of the ones I haven't read, I'm eager to read Out of the Black by Lee Doty. Based on all the great reviews and comparisons I've seen, it sounds like it will be right up my alley (my witty sci-fi alley; not my chick-lit alley)!

As for current Kindle freebies? These are the ones the struck my interest, but I haven't read any of them yet:

• If You Can't Stand the Heat for the behind-the-scenes view of the restaurant industry and the Austin setting
  
• Fake Kate having recently been part of the online dating scene
  
• Replica for the female spy and sci-fi
  
• Unenchanted for YA with an interesting premise

It was a fun read.


ETA: I bought the second book in the series because I enjoyed it so much.
