I was watching a few episodes on DVR this morning. How does her internship program work? WTH does she need 3 interns that basically sit around and do the shit she should be doing if she'd get out of bed and put on some clothes? I truly do not get it, or how any school in the world would approve of this program.
It reminds me of Kramer's intern on Seinfeld and that didn't even last one episode!
well she is technically a business owner, so it doesn't really matter what she has her interns do. most interns receiving college credit get coffee, make copies, and sort mail, so i don't really see much of a difference other than it takes place in her home.

I thought the same thing about the Seinfeld episode!
Yeah, I find it very odd too. I had two internships that actually involved working and learning and not opening mail and getting coffee. I'm curious what the interns think about their experience.
I don't even know what kind of business Sonya runs but setting up a pill minder box sounds more like something a CNA or LPN should be doing, not a business intern.
I guess that's more my question- what do these interns get out of this? When I interned, I worked at a school I wanted to work at full time, and spent a year doing most of the stuff I'd be doing as a full time teacher. It prepared me for my career, and yes, I did plenty of grunt work!
It sounds like a way for her friends to get their children out of their houses and into Sonja's, right? Haven't all of her interns been the children of friends?
